Where Craft Becomes Something Personal
Made in India, by hand
At EKAEI, every piece begins with a belief: what you wear should feel as individual as you are. Our collections are thoughtfully made in India, working with skilled artisans and makers who bring generations of textile knowledge to every piece. We take time-honored techniques and reimagine them through a modern lens—creating clothing that feels effortless, distinctive, and made to be remembered.

Hand Craft
HAND BLOCK PRINTING
Carved wooden blocks. Color mixed by hand. Fabric printed one impression at a time. Hand block printing is beautifully imperfect by nature. Subtle shifts in placement and color are part of the process, giving each EKAEI piece its own character. These are not flaws to be corrected, but traces of the hands that made it.

Hand Craft
LEHERIYA
Created through an intricate process of tying and dyeing fabric, Leheriya is recognized by its flowing, wave-like lines and joyful movement. Rooted in Rajasthan, we bring this centuries-old technique into contemporary silhouettes—allowing its color, rhythm and beautiful irregularity to become part of the EKAEI story.

Hand Craft
CHIKANKARI
Delicate, intricate and quietly beautiful, Chikankari is one of India's most treasured embroidery traditions. Each embroidered detail brings dimension and softness to the fabric. Whether used as a subtle accent or a defining feature, we choose Chikankari for the human touch it brings to a garment—the kind of detail that cannot be replicated by mass production.

Hand Craft
SCREEN PRINTING
Alongside traditional hand processes, we use carefully considered screen printing to create distinctive patterns, richer color stories and prints designed specifically for our collections. It allows us to explore a different expression of Indian textile making while maintaining the small-batch, considered approach at the heart of EKAEI.

Kantha Stitch
STORIES, STITCHED BY HAND
Kantha is a centuries-old embroidery tradition from India, created through delicate, rhythmic hand stitches. Each line carries the subtle variations of the artisan’s hand, giving every piece its own character. At EKAEI, we celebrate Kantha as more than embellishment—it is a connection to craft, heritage, and the beauty of things made slowly and thoughtfully. No two hand-stitched pieces are ever exactly alike.

Our Story
FROM INDIA, TO YOU
EKAEI is a celebration of Indian craftsmanship without being bound by tradition. We pair the artistry of block printing, screen printing, Chikankari and Leheriya with silhouettes designed for the way women dress today—pieces that can travel, celebrate, wander and become part of the moments you remember.
